She was the campaign press secretary for Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and has also worked at Harvard Business School and in the University of Massachusetts President’s Office. Early in her career she worked for Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications, one of the leading independent public relations and public affairs firms on the East Coast.

As a communications consultant, she often undertakes writing projects for clients, including drafting press releases and media backgrounders as well as text for annual reports, brochures, and websites. In addition, she has experience in speechwriting and drafting communications and social media campaign planning documents.
DeVecchi holds a BA from Gettysburg College and an MS in public relations from Boston University.
